Hayley Orrantia is an American actress, singer and songwriter. Many people recognize her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. But she is primarily musician. Music, according to her, is first thing she is passionate about. She began playing with it at age nine. When she was 12 years old, the art of music was taken seriously enough to warrant formal training. In 2013, she took on songwriting and produced her debut album. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia is an American native with Hispanic origins. She's proud of her reality that she is a native of Hispanic origins, although she was raised speaking English only and never lived in Mexico. To preserve it, she has learned Spanish and has written songs using the language. One such song is 'Hasta Verte,' which was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia was selected to audition for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she got four "yeses", or votes for the judges during the Seattle audition. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she along with three female vocalists were placed in the final auditions of "Hollywood Week".
