Lisa Olivia Munn is a born and raised in Oklahoma City. Kimberly's mother is Chinese and she was born in Vietnam. Winston Barrett Munn comes from the American South. Olivia's parents divorced when she was two years old, and she was raised by her father and stepfather who was a member of the United States Air Force. Although the family was spread across the country, her primary residence is Tokyo, Japan. During this time she performed in several local theatre productions. Later, she was a model for the Japanese fashion business. As the family retreated to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her ambition of becoming an actor. After playing a couple of roles in her professional career, she took a very promising turn after she secured the part of Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-focused television show Beyond the Break (2006) and also the role as Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan (2007). She hosts "The Daily Nut" and the "Formula D" podcasts on G4. The passion she has for surfing has been evident since the 2006 TV show Beyond the Break. Additionally, she holds a black belt in taekwondo. In the age of two, her mom remarried. The second time, she got married to the son of a US Air Force serviceman. Though the family had moved many times, the bulk of her existence was in Tokyo Japan which was the place in which her father worked for the military. The University of Oklahoma is where she completed her studies in journalism, with a minor in Japanese as well as drama and dramatic arts.
