Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik in Iceland. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie became the very first woman to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In both 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media celebrity. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. In addition, she is famous for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised with her family at Reykjavik Iceland. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at an early age. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. Annie started CrossFit training in California in 2009. The first time she competed, she performed very well and finished in the first 10 of the 70 competitors. She did not take home an award and ended the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen coached her to an overall second place at the CrossFit Games, and a medal of silver in that year. In the following year she took part in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She was the first woman ever to be the winner of CrossFit Games. Annie won again the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. She became the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of two CrossFit Games at once. Additionally, in 2014 Annie received a Silver medal and, most recently in 2021 she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie works as a trainer and coach for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face for various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and Sidekick Yerbae. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel, which is named "Annie" and has more than 1000 followers. The channel is where she shares videos about the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
