Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the only woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She finished second both in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and a media star. She was the first female to win in the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. The other accomplishments she has achieved include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Since a young child she's been a competitive athlete and fitness fanatic. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit games at California where she performed relatively well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir is, in 2021, was age 31. She's 5'7 tall, and weighs around 67 kilograms. Annie started CrossFit at the age of 7 in California. Annie had an impressive performance in her initial games. She was within the top 10 of 70 athletes. But she did not win any title she ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. In her second year of competition that she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she became the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie also won the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she won a gold medal. Then in 2021 she won with a bronze. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie's rise in fame as an athlete has led her to become the face of many brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration-Sidekick Yerb. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie", with over a thousand viewers. The channel is where she shares videos about the diet of her training, life with family as well as travel.
