Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in during her stage debut. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage actor in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. She released her album It's too late for Tina that in the same year. Louise started her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success, and Louise earned the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been an acclaimed director of well-known television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 28th August 1965, her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. Her childhood was spent there and her adolescence. She settled in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
