Zoe-perry
Perry is a Chicago native she was born into Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Perry made her debut on television as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne. Her parents, however, did not want her to pursue acting until she became an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry claims she never wanted to become an actor during high school but decided to take up performing as a form of social interaction during her time at Northwestern University when she switched to the university from Boston University. Perry following her graduation from Boston University, moved in New York in search of television roles. She landed small parts in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness drove her to California in search of theater jobs. She performed on Broadway as a part of The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. Her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie with her in 2015. Perry appeared nine times in The Family, an ABC drama The Family, in 2016. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC political drama Scandal, starring her dad. The actress also portrayed in the role of a younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - an CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. Despite her family link to the character she got the part through an audition.
